As a firm believer in God and his angels I want to honor him in the best way i can. My life is surrounded by the goal in which when i die, God will tell me he is proud of me and lived a good life. Living a good life to me means in living a life where i don't regret anything.
Life, in my opinion, is independent to us humans even when we depend on it to form who we will become. Its a game and we are the players, we exist to be formed by it, but when the game ends there is no use for the players in that field anymore.
I live my life aiming for no regrets because this forms the essence of who I am. If i went against who i was then i wouldn't be living a good life because i wouldn't aspire for any better. I uphold honor as my basis.
I'm also in love with what it means to "live a good life" because its meaning changes from person depending on what makes them who they are= which are their beliefs, opinions and ideas. How complex it is to be human and do the right thing. We have so much influence, its interesting how we critic ourselves without the basics of life and interpret them to our current understanding. Then i confuse myself by asking complex questions in which it tests my opinion to see if i can find a flaw in my philosophy. The less flaws i find i determine closer to the truth.
If living a good life in essence is being true to yourself, then would i live a good life if i murdered people finding it fulfilling?
No.
Living a good life is being true to yourself, so that also means accepting our flaws and fixing them. Everyone has their fights to fight in life just as everyone has their inner fight, fighting inner demons. This is to maintain our humanity. Even when we lose it and become monsters per say, we only lose ourselves when we stop resisting our demons.
Living a good life is to live being true to ourselves. Being true to ourselves means to never stop fighting.
